  • Location Information: The App automatically retrieves the current location of the user to facilitate features such as emergency alerts. Location information is only used for the intended purpose and is not stored beyond the duration necessary for functionality.
    • Emergency Alerts: When a user initiates an emergency alert, their location information is transmitted via SMS to the designated emergency contact, typically a hospital, to provide assistance. This information is shared solely for emergency response purposes.
  • SMS Permissions: The App requires READ_SMS and SEND_SMS permissions to facilitate phone number verification via One-Time Password (OTP). These permissions allow the App to automatically read and send OTP messages for user authentication purposes. This ensures a seamless and secure login experience. We do not store or share your SMS data with any third parties, and we only access SMS data during the authentication process.

2. Data Security

  • PIN Authentication: The App employs a PIN authentication system to ensure the security of user accounts. Users are required to set up a PIN during account creation and login. PINs are encrypted and stored securely on our servers.
  • Encryption: All data transmission between the App and our servers is encrypted using industry-standard protocols to protect user information from unauthorized access or interception.
  • Access Controls: Access to user data is restricted to authorized personnel only, and strict access controls are in place to prevent unauthorized access, modification, or disclosure.

  • Third Parties: We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to third parties without your consent, except as required by law or to fulfill the intended purpose of the App, such as transmitting emergency alerts to designated contacts.

  • PIN Management: Users can change their PIN at any time through the App's settings to enhance account security.

5. Data Retention

  • Retention Period: Personal information collected by the App is retained only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy or as required by law.

  • Age Restrictions: The App is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18 years of age.
